Honestly, I don't understand why WotC couldn't just take the code from the subclass creation, remove the limitations, and do something similar to that? All they would have to do is add the hit dice, tables, and starting equipment.
We'll get a 3D Tabletop Simulator, and got a new DnD5 Version (2024) and taken away the a-la-carte buying-option in the marketplace, before we get the option to create a class on our own. Sad. Also still waiting for translations other than for the basic rules (and maybe PHB?)
bc its not coming is the simple truth. They wont make money off it and would loose alot of money from it. It also seems they lack the man power to actually do it or just dont want to pay them to do it.
I want to make a swordsman class which i know is pretty much a fighter but i want it to be primarily about sword control sorta like the swashbuckler but a more permanently based on the sword part instead of the rogue part.
Its all for a roman campaign and have been waiting forevs for the make a class feature in dnd beyond

with the way its going right now with WOTC? ill be surprised if they dont get rid of the homebrew section soon.
And still no option..... disheartening
Any followup on this?
How can this still not be an option?

I'd pay for the ability to make some classes.
